She has very irregular periods and having these means she doesn’t have to constantly wear pads or panty liners. She liked them so much we bought a second pack of them. They work great for low flow days or to catch the very beginning of your period so you have enough time to get to the restroom to get your lady bits all in order.These are great to prevent leaks! My daughter doesn't have to worry about being embarrassed when her period arrives or if she leaks through her pad. They are NOT period underwear- so don't expect them to replace pads or tampons, but they are great at preventing embarrassing stains/leaks. They fit true to size as well!I would not consider these panties leak proof or anything special out of the ordinary they were a comfortable fit my daughter said but they certainly did not hold up to the claim of being leakproof and unfortunately this was discovered through experience.Very comfortable
