My daughter doesn't have to worry about being embarrassed when her period arrives or if she leaks through her pad. They are NOT period underwear- so don't expect them to replace pads or tampons, but they are great at preventing embarrassing stains/leaks. They fit true to size as well!These roll down at the front at times. They are not high waisted. They fit below the waist line. I like the material and the style but they weren't right for my child. Size is the size it states, no need to order a size up or down.
