? BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED. The stepped design of The Refined Feline's Metropolitan Cat Condo allows multiple cats to climb atop, as each large platform provides ample room to perch. Choose from several sleek metal frames to blend in with your home’s decor. Overall size: 31″ L x 15″ W x 62″ H.
? STURDY AND DURABLE. This tall metal framed cat tree is crafted from durable steel, unlike other cat towers that are made from flimsy particle boards. It can easily support multiple cats and a safety wall anchor is included for added security.
? COMFORTABLE AND FUNCTIONAL. The Metropolitan Cat Condo features 5 large perches and multiple sets of platforms and cushions. Choose either 5 white faux fur-covered cushions or 4 fabric-covered cushions (available in multiple colors) along with 1 sisal scratch pad.
? REMOVABLE, WASHABLE, & REPLACEABLE PARTS. Cleaning is easy as all cushions and scratch pads are attached with a velcro-like material and can be removed and cleaned or replaced. Cushion covers can be unzipped for washing and the metal frame can be easily wiped down with a non-toxic cleaner. Replacement parts can be purchased from The Refined Feline.
? TOOLS AND INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. Assembly of this modern cat tower is required and takes about an hour to set up. All of the required tools are included.
This is very shakey when cats are on itIt has been a nightmare, receiving and assembling this pricey cat condo. According to The Refined Feline, my first mistake was purchasing this $450 cat condo, through Amazon, and not their website. I don't understand why, since either way, it's their name and product. First shipment arrived with no frame, no hardware, no instructions. Second shipment arrived with no instructions, plus part of the frame had a errant screw attached that had to be removed by taking it to the hardware store and using bolt cutters to get it removed. Wtf? When contacted directly, the manufacturer did not accept any responsibility, or offer any assistance except to say, contact Amazon. I find this totally unacceptable for a $450 investment. I was excited to order this piece, since I had previously purchased the Lotus cat tower, and really love it. So, our disappointment with this purchase, has really soured our experience with this company. Granted, once we were able to get the condo assembled, it is a very nice piece. Just beware, and purchase directly. Apparently, Amazon is shipping out returned items, and not checking that all parts are included. What a mess.I would have given this 5 stars except for the directions. I followed the pictures (in lieu of words for the directions) and though easy to put together, the directions for the shelves were wrong. In the directions, after reading that several times to make sure I was doing it correctly, the shelves were put together so that there was no room for the cats to jump onto the next level. So, I had to make sure the shelves were just so so my cats can make it upwards. But overall, love this and so do my cats!!! I have it next to a floor-to-ceiling window in my living room and they lay on it to watch the wildlife outside. And it's sleek and doesn't take a whole lot of room like a cat tree. Please make the directions, especially for the shelves, better to understand so no one has to waste more minutes taking it apart and putting it back again!Definitely was hard to justify spending so much on a piece of cat furniture, but I think it was worth it. We originally purchased to replace a less attractive cat tower that our cat would use to get to a high window perch of his. Long story short, the window perch is no more and my husband had the great idea of putting this in front of a window. The cat loves it now that it has a view, and I’m really digging this look. Each shelf has a hole for a hanging toy, and we were able to use a spare toy from another tower, along with a Bobby pin to keep it in place (tho I haven’t seen him play with it).In addition to adjustable feet for leveling, It comes with hardware for anchoring it against a wall, we actually used some heavier duty double sided tape in this new spot and it feels very sturdy. If you can justify the price, it’s totally worth it.This is exactly what I wanted for my apartment, I have large windows and I needed a tree that looked good next to them so my girls could see outside. The aesthetics are industrial/eclectic and work well in my space, love all the color options. If I could change anything I'd make it at least 7ft, my girls are tree climbers and I want to replicate it best as I can. I'm not sure how long the faux fur covers will last but since their removable I could make a new set myself so I'm satisfied. The cons:-Some of the screws didn't line up perfectly making me have to strong arm a few which is hard for someone of my strength level, for the price I was expecting at least ikea quality assembly-All the plastic covering each piece, wasteful and annoying-On carpet it is wobbly front to back, I secured it by placing in by my aircon keeping it stable.I wasn't informed that the item would be shipped in two deliveries so when I laid out all the parts I was missing the shelving perches. I notified the company and Amazon was told then that the shipment would arrive in two shipments...Anyway, after the initial confusion and the second shipment arrived, I was able to put together the perch without much difficulty. It works best if it is anchored to a wall (there is a way included to do this) as it is essentially a metal frame with perches on it and when my cats jumped on and off it would move. It also has a way to level the sides and that helps with the movement of the frame. All in all, I like it and it meets my needs (and my cat) as I was looking for a cat condo/perch that would work outside on a screened porch and not fall apart (the last two condos couldn't survive this). It's a little pricy so here's hoping it holds up
